A FURNITURE store in Workington is set to shut.
The IFS Furniture store on Derwent Howe Industrial Estate will close this Monday, August 2.
The store, which is run by Impact housing, has not accepted donations over the last few months.
They have also sold stock to customers for discounted prices as well as given some items for free.
The store will be the last of the organisations to close in Cumbria and has created some disappointment on social media over the last few days
In a post on their Facebook page, the store thanked people for their support, saying: “We would like to thank all our customers for their support over the last 25 years and our colleagues and volunteers for their hard work and dedication to the service and customers, especially over the last few difficult months.”
