A play based on how housewives endured 1950’s life will begin in Keswick this week.
The Theatre of by the Lake will host ‘Home, I’m Darling’ from Wednesday 6th to Saturday 30th October.
Written by Laura Wade, the comedy revolves around Judy, one housewife who realises that being a domestic goddess is not as easy as it seems.
The play was first performed at the National Theatre in 2018, where it saw Katherine Parkinson, known for playing Jen in The IT Crowd, perform a sold-out run.
Tickets are available through the theatre box office on 017687 74411 or on their website.
