WORKINGTON Town Council have announced that they will host a fire works display this year.
The display will be put on in the town's Derwent Park- and be the first one brought to the town in a number of years.
On their facebook, the council said: "We are delighted to be bringing a fireworks display to Workington again and we hope you enjoy the show
"This family friendly fireworks display will be brought to you by Merlin Fireworks; the company responsible for the Carlisle fireworks display, so we know it’s going to be good
"Please do not bring your own fireworks or sparklers to this event and no animals are allowed."
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The show will start at 6pm on November 7 and last approx. 20 minutes.
People can get there free tickets by following this link - https://bit.ly/3iCse36.
