The four local Royal British Legion branches are made up of: Seascale and Sellafield branch, Egremont and District branch, Wath Brow branch and Bransty branch.

If you would like to volunteer to help any of our four local Royal British Legion branches, log on and join all four online for £18 for the year.

County Councillor Paul Turner, the President of the Seascale and Sellafield Branch said: "It's to be hoped that this year's fundraising will show how generous the communities in our area are and with this being the first time we have been able to mobilize our collection team fully since covid so we can set the bar high for future years.

"We are getting more and more veterans coming to us for help, not just Nationally but locally as well. So please give generously and wear your Poppy with pride."
