PLANS have been submitted to the council for the construction of a new steel frame agricultural building.
Allerdale Borough Council has received an application for planning permission to build a new agricultural building at New Grange Farm in Dearham.
The application is being handled by Mr Boustead of Lakeland Building Design on behalf of the applicant, T and J Airey who live at New Grange Farm.
The proposed construction takes up 240 square metres of floorspace and will involve a slate blue steel profile sheet as well as profiled cement fibre board.
Allerdale Council has also received an application to prune three trees in, Workington, to reduce top growth and overhanging branches above roadway.
Permission is required as the trees are on Park End Road, Workington which is within a Conservation Area.
Planning applications can be viewed and commented on via the Allerdale Borough Council planning portal.
