AN historic railway station is putting on a Christmas fair this weekend
Stainmore Railway's Kirkby Stephen East Station is hosting the fair on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
It will showcase the talents of Eden Valley food producers, artists, crafters and photographers.
Each will have their own stand within the fully enclosed station platform, ensuring the Cumbrian weather cannot spoil the day.
A spokesperson from the railway said: "Our historic 1930's buffet car will be serving refreshments including toasties, soup and hot drinks, and the railway’s own shop will have a wide range of gifts and puzzles suitable for all ages.
"Live seasonal music will be provided by Paul Rodgers & Friends, and the Teasdale Ladies Choir.
"Due to Covid restrictions, Santa will not be calling this year, but his helpers will provide an entertaining Elf Hunt for the younger visitors
"Visitor access to the site will be on board free park and ride services from Cumbria Classic Coaches, using their fleet of vintage vehicles, picking up to a timetable from stops at Brough, Kirkby Stephen Auction Mart."
