MANY stores across the county will be giving their staff a day of on Boxing Day.
Workers at Marks and Spencer, Morrisons, Aldi are all set to get a day off for their hard work throughout the year.
Here is the full list of stores which will be closed.
Marks and Spencer
The company announced in August that they will be closing on December 26 to thank staff for their hard work this year.
The stores distribution centres and support centres will also be closed.
Morrisons
One of the first high street giants to announce that none of its stores across the UK stores will open on December 26.
Poundland
Poundland announced all it's stores will be closed on Boxing Day and New Year's Day as a thank you to their staff during 2021.
Home Bargains
Home Bargains have announced that they will give all staff a day off on both Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Aldi
Every year Aldie give their staff boxing day off as a thank you. Aldi have never opened their stores on Boxing Day and the tradition is set to continue.
Iceland
In September the news was announced that Iceland will also give its staff a day off on Boxing Day.
The Entertainer
Staff at The Entertainer will return to work on December 27, it was announced in September that the toy chain will be closed for Boxing Dat.
Sainsbury's
All Sainsbury's stores, petrol stations and local shops will be shut today, Sainsbury's said around 170,000 workers will get an extra day off.
