AN ALLERDALE pub will continue to operate after an overnight fire destroyed their food storeroom.
Firefighters worked overnight to tackle the blaze at The Dovenby Ship.
Taking to their Facebook page, owners of the pub shared: "We’ve had a nasty fire through night which has resulted in our food storage area being totally destroyed. Everyone is ok but the damage is intense.

We will be open as usual but bear with us please as we have lost a lot of stock and equipment and may have to run on a reduced menu but of course, we will do our best."
