"I've got carers that come and get me up in the morning and things but he comes and does all the over things, he keeps me going really."

The mother says the family now fears that Glenn may have got into trouble near water if he has tried to walk home on the coastal paths.

She said: "We have tried everywhere, the thing that we fear now is water."

Over the last week, many people from around Maryport have went out to try and assist the police in the search for the missing 45 year old.

Jackie has appealed for anyone with information, no matter how significant they thhink it may be to the investigation.

She said: "If he is out there we just want to know he is safe, I don't think that (that he has gone missing by his own choice) is a possibility though he dotes on his girlfriend so I don't think that's really an option."

"If anybody knows anything, anything at all please just contact me or ring the police and let them know."

Anyone with information should contact police on 101. Officers would also like to urge Glenn to contact this number if he sees this appeal.
