This weeks nostalgia focuses on Cockrock, which was an iconic Cumbrian festival. The festival saw some big names head up to Cumbria to perform for fans.
Cockrock was a non profit festival set up in 2004 to help provide funding support for two great local causes, the Great North Air Ambulance and Cockermouth Mountain Rescue, and to encourage and promote local bands and musicians.
The festival were keen on being inclusive to all music lovers, the festival promotion for 2012 said:
"Imagine a place where age, sex, race, colour of your skin, religion, politics and even wealth count for nothing."
In 2013, Cumbrians showed how proud they were of the festival when rapper, Wiley, was jeered off stage. He had tweeted his dismay about performing there prior to the event. However, festival go-ers took matters into their own hands and decided to boo him off stage for dissing the festival.
