A man has admitted being drunk and disorderly in a town centre.

Sam Irving, 27, of Senhouse Street, Siddick, Workington pleaded guilty to a charge of being drunk and disorderly in a public place.

The offence took place on Washington Street in Workington on June 26.

Magistrates sitting in Workington fined the defendant £40 and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £16 victim surcharge.
