TWO people have been taken to hospital after a crash near Cockermouth.
Police were called at about 5:50pm yesterday evening to the A66 between the Fitz Roundabout, Cockermouth and Brigham to a crash which involved a BMW and a Honda Jazz.
The driver of the BMV was taken to Cumberland Infirmary as a precaution.
The driver of the Honda went to West Cumberland Hospital as a precaution.
