Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to announce £3 billion in funding to for the NHS to support the service in preparing for a second wave.
PM Boris Johnson will reportedly hold a press conference today announcing the funding boost which it is hoped will also ease winter pressures on the service.
A new target of coronavirus tests is also expected to be announced, the Government are expected to increase the target to 500,000 by the end of October.
The press conference could also see the Prime Minister reveal another step of the Government's roadmap to recovery.
