Storm Callum got the better of many of the weekend fixtures in the West Cumbria Youth League but the games which did survive proved to be crackers.

All four games in the under-12s girls division, and both games in the under-14 girls division fell victim to the weather.

Two games went ahead in the under-12s blue division, with Whitehaven AFC Blue drawing 2-2 with Dearham Rangers and Silloth Mini Gulls falling to a 5-4 defeat at home to Moor Row Blacks.

Only one game survived in the red division and Cleator Moor Celtic Green made the most of it with an 8-0 win at the home of Workington Reds.

In the under-13s division there was a thrilling 4-4 draw between Whitehaven Miners Social and St Bees and the under-14s division saw Workington Rangers and Workington Reds White both get 9-0 wins at home to Senhouse and Windscale respectively, while Dearham Rangers ran out 9-1 winners at Workington Reds Black.

Cockermouth Lightning were big winners in the under-16s division, beating Workington Reds under-15s 9-0, with under-15s sides from Whitehaven AFC and Windscale also battling to a 1-1 draw.

Only two fixtures went ahead in the under-18s division as Workington Reds Black were in superb form to beat Seaton 12-1 and Workington Reds White picked up a 6-3 win at home to Cleator Moor Celtic.
