Not even a 100-yard wonder-goal from Red House goalkeeper Liam Hazzard could stop Seaton Royal Oak lifting the Workington Sunday League Divisional Cup at Borough Park.

Brenden Wilkinson, Ben Powell and Nathan Nowak fired Seaton to a 3-1 win but it was Hazzard’s stunning consolation strike which was the pick of the goals.

In the Premier League, Deer Orchard won 5-2 with braces from Rob Cox and Luke Graham and another goal from Callum West, Ian Studholme and Matthew McClure grabbed Blue Bell’s goals.

Northside were unstoppable against Sun Inn as Jamie Glover, Jamie Bramley and Steff Scott scored a pair of goals each and Liam McCullough, Kyle Galea and Jamie Williamson made it nine goals for the hosts, with Dan Pearson getting one back for the away side.

Pack Horse won 6-1 at Senhouse St Club, with Nathan Brash scoring a consolation goal.

Maryport Labour Club and FC Gaslight were evenly matched in a 1-1 draw in Division One which saw Reece Rogerson score for the home side and Adam Kilgour notch for the visitors.

Dearham got a 5-2 win on the road at Salterbeck with five different scorers as Steven Stoddart, Matthew Langstaff, James Langstaff, Jonathan Bridgewood and Dylan Elsworth got on the scoresheet.

Liam Currier and Josh Miles found the back of the net for Salterbeck.

And Workington Reds Juniors ran out 4-1 winners at Sun Inn Athletic, with Jordan Ridley’s goal cancelled out by Leigh Flett, Cameron Harker, Macauley Sharp and Luke Mitchell.
