Talented Dearham racer Josh Skelton will return to race with JHR Developments in the ever-competitive F4 British Championship for the 2019 season as the team continues its successful expansion, aiming for race wins and title glory.

In his first season in car racing, the teenager finished fourth in the championship’s Rookie Cup last year, with one victory and nine further podium finishes against tough opposition, despite a limited testing plan.

“I think it will be good,” said Josh. “We had a good learning year and I’m looking forward to carrying over the experience into this season.

"It’s great staying with JHR as I know the guys well, so it will mean we can focus on getting results.

“My objective is the top three in the championship and race wins but I’m optimistic we can go for the title.”

“Josh progressed throughout 2018,” said Steven Hunter, team principal at JHR.

“We all believe he will be at the sharp end of the grid as he looks forward to a full campaign with the team.”
