‘Our home form is what will keep us in the league’ warned Workington Reds boss Lee Andrews ahead of a tough clash with Hyde United at Borough Park tomorrow, ko 3pm.

Andrews says his team need to play on the positives from their last couple of games and get into Hyde and cause them problems from the off if they are to take away the points.

Recently Reds have fared better away from home but Andrews admitted they had to start hitting form at Borough Park if they want to avoid relegation.

“We have to take the positives into the game against a Hyde team that’s used to playing on a really flat surface and coming on to Borough Park won’t be easy for them,” said Andrews.

“So if we can get into their faces and get in and around them we can cause them problems.

“We’ve said in the dressing room that our home form will be what will keep us in the league, if we can sort out our home form out as simple as that we will stay up.

“Obviously any points picked up away is a bonus but home form is our bread and butter and we need to start winning games at home. We have more home games than away games left so we feel if we can start winning them games, picking up the points, starting on Saturday, then we will be okay.”

Andrews is hoping he will have Dan Carmichael back in contention but Dan Wordsworth will miss out through suspension.
