Workington Town powerhouse Fuifui Moimoi is set to make his return to action in the club’s next League One encounter against Coventry Bears.

Moimoi, who returned to the club a couple of weeks ago, is raring to get back into action but still has one match of his four-game ban to serve.

That puts him out of contention for this Sunday’s Coral Challenge Cup game against National Conference League outfit Siddal - but he is hoping to be back with a bang the following week against the Bears.

Town director of rugby, Gary Murdock, said: “Fui is training hard and is raring to get back into action.

“He’s looking as strong as ever and we can’t wait to see him making the kinds of bullocking runs we saw from him last season.

“He’s hard to handle and this league is improving all the time, so the extra fire power in what is an already formidable pack is going to be a real bonus.”

Sunday’s visitors to Derwent Park, Siddal, did not enjoy any success in Cumbria last weekend as they lost their opening NCL Premier Division game at the home of Wath Brow Hornets 24-16.

The clash will be under the glare of the Our League cameras who will live stream the game.

In this year’s competition, Siddal have achieved clean sheets against Clock Face Miners in round one and Millom in round two.
