A hat-trick from Tom Powell aided Seaton Royal Oak to a hard-fought victory over Waverley in the Workington Sunday Football League.

Powell scored two of his goals direct from the corner in the 6-4 win while Ben Powell also got on the scoresheet before switching into the nets at half time and then making a penalty save with just five minutes to go, with the scoreline hanging in the balance at 5-4.

Carl Denver and Luke Knowles also found the back of the net for Royal Oak with Ashley Dixon, Chris Williams, Antony Zajac and Paul Skipsey replying.

Northside collected a 4-0 win, as Jamie Bramley claimed a hat-trick and Kyle Graham wrapped up the scoring against Dearham.

In the Premier League Divisional Cup Group A, a Luke Graham hat-trick ensured Deer Orchard won 3-1 at the home of Senhouse St Club, with Scott Weston bagging their consolation.

And in the Division One Divisional Cup, Group B it was Maryport Labour Club who came out on top 2-1, against Salterbeck, for whom Daniel Storey got their lone goal. Callum Foy and Cameron Carter scored for Labour Club.

On Tuesday night in the Premier League Divisional Cup Deer Orchard and Pack Horse played out a 1-1 draw with Dan Graham and Liam McCullough both finding the back of the net for their respective teams.

In the premier division, Northside beat Seaton Royal Oak 6-3 thanks to braces from Gareth O’Leary and Jamie Bramley, plus one apiece for Tom Mahone and John Price.

Royal Oak’s replies came from Tom Powell, Ben Powell and Adam Cowan.

In division one, an Ethan Weir hat-trick aided Maryport Labour Club to a 6-4 home win over Soul Suite, the other goals coming from Jack Pears, a Callum Foy penalty and an own goal.

Ryan O’Pray scored two for Soul Suite, with Ozzy Rumney and Kieran Thornborrow also on the scoresheet.

Lastly Salterbeck just edged out Workington Reds Juniors 3-2 in a tight game with Nathan Brash bagging a brace and Ewan Robinson one for Salterbeck. Luke Mitchell and Macauley Sharp replied for Reds.
