Albion have completed the signing of Genk captain and winger Leandro Trossard.
The deal has been confirmed by both clubs after the 24-year-old passed a medical and finalised the move last night at the Lancing training complex.
Trossard has agreed a contract until 2023 and will link up with his new team-mates next week ahead of the training camp in Austria and opening friendly.
Trossard, who got married in Belgium on Saturday to long-time partner Laura Hilven, said: "It's really busy days but I am really happy now that I have become a Brighton player.
"I am looking forward to seeing my team-mates and having a great season."
Albion's new head coach Graham Potter said: "We are delighted to welcome Leandro to the club and excited about the impact he can have for us.
"He's an attack-minded player who had a very impressive season last year in helping Genk win the league title.
"He was influential in the side’s success last term and scored a lot of goals, as well as creating chances for others.
"At 24 he also brings good experience, having captained the side and also featured many times in the Europa League."
