Cockermouth swimmer Luke Greenbank is a World Aquatics Championships bronze medallist.
Greenbank scooped a bronze medal in the 200-metres backstroke final today.
The 21-year-old came in third in the final in Gwangju in the Republic of Korea in a time of 1:55.85 behind winner Evgeny Rylov, of Russia, and USA's Ryan Murphy.
Greenbank's stunning swim saw him pip a number of top swimmers to make the podium after he had progressed into the semi-final with a qualifier time of 1:56.83 then cruised into the final with a time of 1:56.60 in yesterday's semi-final.
