Whitehaven AFC’s under-11 Lionesses have secured the continuing support of property developer High Grange Developments.

The team had outgrown their kits but High Grange contacted the club’s coaches to help them secure new equipment to ensure they will continue to have a sense of identity.

Coaches Rob Campbell, Gary Barwise and Andy Beattie said: “We are overwhelmed by High Grange once again supporting our young lasses.

“They look really smart in their new kits and since the girls knew they were getting it it’s all they have talked about.

“That excitement is because of High Grange’s generosity and we really love their support, not just with the kits but the kind words of support they sent us over the last two years, and we are really happy they are going to be part of our football family for the next two years.”

Laura Reed, resourcing manager for High Grange Developments, added: “We are delighted to continue our support to these future Lionesses.

“Good luck for the season girls.”
