Vice captain of Workington AFC, Brad Carroll has committed to another campaign at Borough Park.
Carroll is the latest Reds fan favourite to re-sign for the 2021/2022 campaign, joining captain Conor Tinnion and striker Scott Allison.
Reds also announced earlier this month that manager Danny Grainger and assistant Steven Rudd will be staying with the club for another two and a half years.
Speaking of his own re-signing, Carroll, who has committed to a third campaign in the Reds jersey, told the club website: "Once Danny rang me to sort it out it was music to my ears to know that there's light at the end of the tunnel.
"We've been in this league for two years now, both seasons haven't been completed, so it's like 'this is going to be it, we've got to get out of this league.'"
