Only two games went ahead in the Holmen Iggesund Cumberland ARL with victories for Glasson and Seaton A.

Glasson’s home clash with Wath Brow A was tight for a long time before eventually the hosts pulled away to win 34-18.

It had been 12-12 at the break which was a fair reflection on the hard-fought nature of the contest.

Hornets stayed in the contest with tries from Greg Howland, Karl Olstrum and Ellis Curnow. Jenson Olstrum (2) and Jason Connery kicked the Brow goals.

Adam Lee won the Glasson Man of the Match award while Adam Hodgson picked-up the nomination for Hornets.

Plenty of points at Lowca where the home side were beaten 42-24 by Seaton A after the visitors had led 30-6 at half-time.
