CULTURE goes on the road for its first-ever appearance in Workington.

The well-established Cumbrian club night is set to feature at the brand-new Electric Soup venue, in Jane Street, on Easter Sunday, with Carl Tait, James Gibson, Jonny Donat, Kal Rowlands, Sam Doran and Elliot Adamson on the line-up.

Founder Carl Tait has grown the Culture parties over the past year, selling out four events in Carlisle, and is now expanding his horizons with this West Cumbrian debut.

He says: "Since February 2017 I have put in a serious amount of elbow grease to ensure that my Culture parties were only ever going get stronger.

"Over a year later, with four sell outs and the fifth on the horizon, it makes me feel like we're pushing in the right direction.

"When an opportunity came up to host a Culture outside of Carlisle, at Jonny Donat's Electric Soup, I had a little bit of concern - not for the venue, but I expected to be travelling with my residents and the chance of a few more heads coming along for a party. I'm shell-shocked that there's now three coaches travelling from Carlisle with 150 people from my hometown coming to the show! It's astonishing."

Promising North East house DJ Elliot Adamson is the visiting guest for the night, among the line-up of familiar local faces.

Carl has big plans for growing the Culture brand in 2018, and this Workington outing is just the beginning.

"It will open up doors to host bigger nights in bigger cities, and for this response I'm very grateful.

"To get where we are now and to achieve what we have over the past year is amazing and I couldn't have done it without the support of all the groovers and my Culture residents.

"I'm really excited for the big Culture road trip, and if you haven't got your tickets yet, I wouldn't hang about."
