Drivers using the A66 in Cumbria are set to face further delays as more roadworks are planned.
Highways England is planning resurfacing work at Broughton Cross.
The work is expected to take place between March 5 and March 31.
A 40mph speed limit is planned from about 0.3km east of Marron Bridge to about 0.7km east of the Great Broughton junction.
For safety, a convoy system with a 10mph limit is set to operate at the work site itself.
The lay-bys on either side of the road, either side of Stoneybeck Bridge, will be closed between 8pm and 6am throughout the work.
General maintenance and sign installation work is due to be carried out alongside the resurfacing.
Roadworks are already being carried out on the A66 between Keswick and Penrith, with overnight road closures set to begin there on Monday.
