Cumbrian cricketer Ben Stokes has been left out of England's squad for tomorrow's one-day match against the West Indies after an incident in Bristol earlier this week.
Cockermouth's Stokes, and team-mate Alex Hales, didn't train with their England team-mates at The Oval today, ahead of tomorrow's fourth One-Day International.
The all-rounder was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning, while Hales is helping police with their enquiries.
An England and Wales Cricket Board statement read: "Ben Stokes and Alex Hales will not be available for tomorrow's One-Day International match against West Indies at The Oval.
"Stokes was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning, 25 September, following an incident in Bristol.
"He was held overnight and released under investigation - without charge - late on Monday and will not join the team in London.
"Hales, who was with Stokes on Sunday night, did not train this morning and has returned voluntarily to Bristol today to help Police with their enquiries.
"You will understand that we cannot offer further detail at this stage but will provide any updates when we can."
Stokes is also believed to be likely to also miss England's fifth and final ODI against the Windies, too.
The news comes with England set to name their touring party for this winter's Ashes tomorrow morning.
