A pensioner who has visited a Cockermouth cafe twice a day, every day since it opened enjoyed birthday celebrations with the staff.
Gloria Stevens has enjoyed breakfast and an afternoon snack at VeeVa for the past six years.
So, to mark her 90th birthday, staff sand Happy Birthday and presented her with a card, balloon and gifts.
Manager Gareth Williams said: "Gloria is one of our favourite customers. She is very much part of the furniture now and we've all grown very fond of her."
Mrs Stevens lives in nearby Abbeyfield House. She calls into the Station Road cafe every morning for a poached egg on white bread with the crusts cut off and a latte. In the afternoon, the staff will rustle up whatever snack she likes.
"It was a lovely surprise on my birthday. I feel very welcome here, the staff are all so friendly. They know what I like," said Mrs Stevens, who is originally from Bothel.
"The cakes are lovely but I often just want some bread and jam in the afternoon."
The staff let her out through the back door, so she has a shorter journey home. They also have a special cushion for her.
"She knows everyone's names and sometimes bring us in magazines," said Gareth.
"Our customer base is so broad, from mums and toddlers to kids at school and then older people, like Gloria. We have a great mix."
