Mountain rescuers treated a 71-year-old woman who was unable to walk while out in the Lake District.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team were called at about 12.50pm yesterday to Blea Tarn, Little Langdale, were she had twisted her ankle while walking with a group.
Two vehicles of team members, 14 in total, set out to Watendlath. They treated the woman at the scene the stretchered her back to the vehicles.
She was taken by ambulance to Keswick Cottage Hospital.
The incident lasted two hours and 30 minutes.
