A Cockermouth woman bared all on a television dating show watched by 1.2million people.

But Jess Graham has no regrets and said being on Naked Attraction was a fantastic experience.

"It was great, everyone was so friendly and made you feel so comfortable," said Jess, 20.

"It was scary before I got there but once I was there and filming started you forgot you were naked.

"The other contestants were lovely."

Jess was introduced as a Post Office assistant from Cockermouth. She used to work in the Cockermouth office until she left to have a baby, Isabella, who is now nine months.

She now works part-time at a pub in a nearby village.

The show was filmed in Media City, Manchester, at the end of March, and broadcast at the weekend.

Jess got involved after seeing an advert on Facebook.

"I jokingly said to my mum I would apply, and then I did. Someone rang me 10 minutes later and I went to Manchester that night.

"We filmed the next day."

She is still in touch with the other contestants.

"Before I went on the show I wasn't a very confident person. I like to push myself out of my comfort zone and the show really did that.

"I feel lots more confident now," said Jess.

She was one of six contestants and made it down to the final two.

While Dom, the man choosing his date, did not pick Jess, it was revealed at the end of the show that he had later gone to visit her in Cockermouth.

The show involves contestants' naked bodies being revealed, starting with their bottom half.

The upper part of their body, to the shoulders, is then revealed, and finally their faces. After each round someone is eliminated.

"There were four of us left showing our faces. One of them went and then three of us had to speak," said Jess, who has various piercings.

"We got a bit of a weird question: What do you think you're bodies say about you?

"I said my tattoos show I'm creative and like taking risks."

Jess, a former Cockermouth School pupil, has a tattoo on her sternum and four on her arms.

She and her mum, Faye Graham, have had lots of positive feedback since the show went out.

"When I went to Manchester, mum was a bit worried about what people would say but after hearing about how it all went she was really excited.

"People have been very nice."
