Youngsters will have a chance to try out sports activities for free thanks to a new initiative.
Workington GO, organised by Workington Town Council, will take place
on Saturday March 18 from 11am to 4pm.
Children aged between 12 and 18 will be given an opportunity to try out sports such as skateboarding, canoeing, cheerleading and orienteering for free.
The sessions are led by professional instructors and are suitable for beginners.
The town council wants to encourage young people to try different sport activities that they may not have considered.
Workshop places are limited and assigned on a first come, first served basis.
