A musician from Maryport will hold a charity music night next month in support of fellow cancer patients.
Drummer and singer Anthony Relihan, 52, of Main Road, Ellenborough, has a form of blood cancer and wanted to help others who may be in the same situation.
He previously played alongside his son Cameron, of Lancaster, and others in the band No Regrets.
Following a change in line-up and a new name, Anthony decided a charity gig for Leukaemia Care would be the ideal debut event.
Straitjacket, also featuring Mark Belfield on bass and guitar, will play at the Swan Inn, Ellenborough, on September 17.
Silloth singers Stephen Bailey and Jemma Doughty will also perform.
Entry is free, with donation buckets and a raffle to raise money.
Anthony, who is having long-term treatment for his condition, said: "I decided to do the fundraiser because I have got a blood neoplasm.
"I wanted to help out because you never know when you're going to need support yourself.
"We hope as many people as possible will come along."
The event start at 8.30pm.
