Fifty volunteers helped give Cockermouth Rugby Club's premises a boost at the weekend.
The whole clubhouse was painted, cleaned and repaired over two days, with plumbing and electrical and joinery work carried out ready for the 2016-17 season.
The volunteering scheme involved the RFU and Natwest and the event was organised by coach Chris Wright and supported by JT Atkinson, Story Homes and Wilkinson.
Steve Stainton, club chairman, said: "A very big thank you also to all the volunteers who gave up their weekend to make our club a better place to be.
"There's no way the club could survive without our volunteers. Well done everybody."
