The county market had to move upstairs after the ground floor of the United Reformed Church, on Main Street, flooded in December.
While the market was able to continue, customer numbers dropped.
The organisers are delighted to be back downstairs following months of renovation work.
Rachel McConkey said: “We did manage to open downstairs last Friday but there was lots of running about trying to work out where to put things so it was not the day for celebrations.
“This week we’re holding a tasting day, with lots of free tasters of our food products available, plus free hot drinks for all customers.
The weekly market runs from 9am until 12.30pm.
