A thief who stole more than £11,000 while working at Maryport's Lake District Coast Aquarium has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Scott Lister, 29, pocketed the money during shifts on the tills at the tourist attraction over a period of almost three-and-a-half years.
Lister created fictitious refunds as he made more than 360 criminal transactions before his theft was detected.
He has now been ordered to pay back every penny of the £11,097 he took from owner Mark Vollers.
Having admitted his theft, between 2008 and 2011, Lister was sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court.
Judge Peter Davies imposed an eight-month prison sentence.
This was suspended for two years.
Lister, of Flimby Brow, Flimby, was also ordered to complete 200 hours' unpaid work and pay £340 costs.
