Buses and beer will entertain revellers at Workington Transport Heritage Trust's second annual beer festival this summer.

The festival will be held in the town's old fire station in King Street on Saturday, July 9.

Last year's event was billed as the first and last beer festival as the trust is on a short lease in the premises but they are still there so will host the event again.

After proving so popular last year that it ran out of beer, a range of about a dozen real ales and ciders, plus hot food and live music from band The Element will hope to satisfy thirsty revellers this year.

The event has been organised with the help of local breweries, West Cumbria Camra and Workington Derwent Rotary.

The festival will run from 2pm to 9pm and entry is £2, which includes a glass and tasting notes.
