A Cockermouth cafe serving drinks made with non-fluoridated water will be launched at the town's Taste Cumbria tomorrow.
Tea and Tranquility in Market Place has worked with the Fluoride Free Cockermouth group to provide the service.
Paul Carr, group chairman, said: "We believe this is an absolute first in this country.
"The idea is to give people a choice over whether they have fluoride in their drinks or not and to raise the profile of the issue."
The drinks are being made using Cumbria-produced Willow Water.
Michaela Ashby, Tea and Tranquility owner, added: "We are happy to join in this initiative. It fits well within our business ethos which is to provide a quality holistic service. I really feel it’s very important that people have choice on whether they receive this chemical in their water supply."
Mr Carr added: "Michaela’s business is, we hope, the first of many in fluoridated West Cumbria to respect customer concerns."
