An exciting new exhibition is available to view at the Derwent pencil museum in Keswick, Cumbria.

The Derwent art prize exhibition is now on tour following its residence in the Mall Galleries London.

Works include pieces by national and international artists and showcase 2D and 3D works created in pencil, coloured pencil, graphite and pastel.

Artwork was submitted from 20 artists from the North of England, including Paul Gladstone's highly intricate drawing of a rocky waterfall in County Durham entitled 'Low Force, Teesdale' and James Eagle's monumental architectural drawing 'Dining Room – CaCO3 Depositional House'.

There are also pieces from four individual prize-winners, including the overall Derwent art prize winner, Parisian artist, France Bizot.

Access to the exhibition is included in the price of a standard entry ticket to the museum. Prices start at £4.95 for adults, £4.50 for students and seniors and £3.95 for children.

Artwork from the exhibition will be available to buy.

The Derwent pencil museum is open from 9.30am to 5pm daily.
