A WORKINGTON man has been ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work after he admitted a string of offences.
Michael Tyson, 39, of Clay Street, appeared at the magistrates court in Workington on Friday where he pleaded guilty to driving without a licence, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, obstructing a police officer and possessing amphetamine.
The offences happened on February 25 when Tyson was driving on Lowca Lane, Workington.
As well as the unpaid work, magistrates banned Tyson from holding a licence for three years and ordered him to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
They also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the class B drugs.
