The week got off to a cracking start for three West Cumbrian neighbours when they scooped lottery prizes.
The Edinburgh Road residents each picked up £1,000 when their postcode - CA15 8EZ - was announced as a daily prize winner in the People's Postcode Lottery.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her congratulations to the winners.
She said: “There’s no better way to beat the Monday morning blues than hearing you’ve won the lottery.
"Congratulations to everyone picking up a prize in Maryport today, it’s always lovely to see neighbours winning together.”
Of all the money paid into the People's Postcode Lottery in ticket sales, a minimum of 32 per cent goes directly to charities.
To date it has raised £416 million for thousands of good causes in Great Britain and beyond.
The next opportunity for charities to apply for funding is in August.
