A WALK of Witness will be held in Cockermouth on Good Friday.
Organised by Churches Together in the Cockermouth Area, it will set off from All Saints' Church at 9.45am.
A spokesman said: "Join us as we journey through Jesus’ last hours to his crucifixion.
We remember how he was betrayed, abused, beaten, tortured, and
cruelly murdered.
"Our ‘One Friday’ Walk of Witness tells the story
of Good Friday through drama, words and song."
Everyone is welcome to join the group which will progress through town to the town hall (10.15am), Market Place (10.35am), Station Street (11am), United Reformed Church (11.20am), St Joseph's car park (noon), before culminating in Memorial Gardens at 12.20pm.
Lunch will be served in Christ Church Rooms from noon to 1.30pm.
