A Workington man has appeared in court after causing criminal damage to a door lock.
Christopher Alan Hampton, 31, of South William Street, appeared at the town's West Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
The court heard that, on April 27, Hampton unlawfully caused £80 worth of damage to the locking mechanism of a door at Lady Court, Workington.
On the same day he was found to be in possession of a quantity of class-B cannabis.
Hampton was fined £100, £85 costs, £80 compensation and a £30 surcharge.
