A man who drove while disqualified and without insurance must complete unpaid work.
Paul Anthony Shields, 39, of Curwendale, Stainburn, Workington, pleaded guilty at West Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Friday to driving a red Renault Megane on the A66 near Bridgefoot while disqualified and with no insurance.
He was handed a four-month driving ban and sentenced to 80 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
