A PENSIONER was caught driving at twice the 30mph speed limit - for more than four miles.
Graham Hardey, 71, who lives in the Aspatria area, admitted speeding under the single justice procedure.
Police recorded him driving consistently at 60mph on the A591 at Keswick, over a distance of 4.3 miles.
Appearing at Carlisle's magistrates' court, he was fined £360 plus £36 to victim services and £85 costs. Hardey's licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
