A Workington man has been banned from the roads for 20 months after admitting a drink-driving charge.
Andrew Donnan Wilson, 31, of Garth Road, was also fined £420 by Workington magistrates.
The court heard Wilson was driving a Ford Focus on Monkhouse Road, Workington, on November 3 when the incident occurred.
He was found to have 72mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg.
Wilson must also pay £85 costs and a £42 victim surcharge.
If he successfully completes a drink-driver rehabilitation course he could see his ban reduced by 20 weeks.
