There is still time for Maryport residents to have their say on Allerdale's Future High Streets Fund bid.

The fund is a central Government pot for the regeneration and improvement of town centres across the country.

Maryport is one of the Cumbrian towns that has been shortlisted to benefit from the fund.

Now Allerdale council is putting together a bid to claim a share of the fund, which is worth up to £25m per town.

The local authority has been fielding opinions on the bid from Maryport residents this week, and will be continuing to do so today and tomorrow.

The consultation will be held today in 57 Senhouse Street from 10am until 4pm, and at The Settlement from 10am to 12pm tomorrow.
