Sporty students certainly enjoyed their summer back in 2010.
Southfield Technology College held a multisports event with youngsters polishing up on their racquet skills, amongst other things.
A multitude of sports were covered with badminton, cricket and tennis just some of the skills on offer to be taught to the pupils.
Everyone got into the spirit of the sporting sessions and enjoyed their time on indoor and outdoor courts.
Southfield has since closed with pupils from the school and those from Stainburn School now attending the joint Workington Academy.
But many people can look back on these pictures, captured by our photographer, and remember their time at Southfield.
