A COCKERMOUTH group has produced a unique booklet illustrating how the town coped during the covid lockdown.
The Rotary Club wanted to create a social history of these unprecedented times.
"Five of us put a booklet together, covering the lockdown period from March to June," said Trevor Earthy, a keen photographer.
"I walked round the town a lot, taking photos of empty streets and play areas, queues outside shops.
"We spoke to local children, traders, volunteers, a farmer and older people in Kirkland Care Home about their experiences."
The booklet contains lots of photos, of everything from posties to painted pebbles, and features many key workers and well-known locals.
It costs £5 and is available in Firns Home Hardware, Strolling4Shoes and Percy House Gallery. All profits go to local charities.
