This year one of the main annual fundraising events for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) has gone virtual.
Their usual Reindeer Run, held just before Christmas, will this year take place on either Saturday, December 12 at 12.30pm or Sunday, December 13 at 11.30am, or both if people want to – but this year will be different.
Runners and walkers can take part wherever they are.
They can choose their own route, round and round the garden, favourite park or even the treadmill.
Then choose a distance: 1k, 5k, 10k+, half-marathon (21k) or full marathon (42k) and go at their own pace.
People are being encouraged to dress up for the f occasion by wearing antlers and running hooves for the Reindeer Run, which will raise vital funds for the RNLI.
Sign up to take part on the RNLI's website at: https://rnli.org/find-my-nearest/events/2020/december/reindeer-run-2020
