A WORKINGTON man has been jailed for breaching a restraining order just weeks after it was imposed.
Mark Anthony Homer, 43, of Mona Court, Salterbeck, committed the offence on January 20 by entering North Watt Street, Workington, Carlisle's Rickergate court heard.
He also admitted failing to turn up for Probation Service appointments on two dates.
He was originally given a community order for having an offensive weapon - a hammer - in a public place with no good excuse and for harassing a woman. After hearing details, magistrates imposed an overall jail term of 22 weeks.
